Ok...So I've searched the forums and have found out that there is a lot pf problems with the grip warmers on the Vipers.
I have an '02 Viper with occasional warmer issues. Decided to replace them with Hot Grips. They showed up yesterday and have a resistor and a switch with them and a phone number to call in case you have an issue. No answer!
So here's the questions:
1 - Can I install these using my existing variable temp control switch and will it work ? (I would like to)
2 - If some one tells me to wire these parallel or series, what is the current stock set-up? What needs to be changed? (please be specific, thanks)
3 - Do I need to include the resistor that came with the new grips? Is there one already there from the factory?
Thanks in advance for the help, and would like to hear from anyone who has had sucess or failure with this install.
