Is there a better weight to try then the stock 8DG-00..How about 8CR-10 weights, about 4 gr heavier.Or is there any other you 600 riders are using.

What about the 8AB's I heard lots really like those in the 600 and very aggressive.

I would also be open to tuning a set of 8DN-20's in the 600 mill for trailer performance and top end

yes that could be a good weight to use.I have used the 8DN-20's in the 600 before also.I will be doing top end on the 600,so want to take full advantage of the newly aquired power again.,but of course the SRX is still my main baby...

The 600 is my fool around sled, more for the deeper snow, doing jumps and climbs..but like to open it up to.My stock weights already have wear marks on them and probably should change them.

well, with a broad spectrum like that, I would either stick with the stock 8dg weights or go to a 8dn-10,or 8dn20 weight. really the only differance is the 8dn10 is a little lighter then the 20 is,so its just a matter of what rivets youll use, or what weights you have on hand.
The 8ab,8ca weights wouldnt be what I would personally use for topend running or deep snow climbing, they are a great aggressive trail weight ,even good field/drag racing.

ok thanks then..I could try 8DN-20 then...appreciate it...

Oh by the way,do I need to use the larger rollers with the 8DN's instead of 14.5's.Mind you the 14.5's will clamp the belt better to..what's your take here?

go to the tech page and look up the clutch/gearing/engine mod set-ups Turk has listed for you sled and go with the one that you think best fits your riding style. I have used his set-ups as baselines for my '99 SX600 and couldn't be happier.
