Recoating Powervalves

thanks gary ill give them a shout cause i could hand deliver them to them i am in the city at leat once a week if not 2 or 3 times
 

If you talk to Jon ( the son), he is a BIGTIME snowmobiler and he knows me.. I don't know if he knows me by name so much as by face.. He knows I used to dragrace a 99 SRX on asphalt.. Thats how he would remember me.. Either Jon or his father Don have the knowledge to get you set in the right direction... Don ( the father ) is the BRAINS of the outfit..
 
The turnaround time is REALLY GOOD lately also !! I had a couple of pieces of my headers recoated a few weeks ago and it was done in about a WEEK !!! Some guys in the Chicago area tell you FOUR MONTHS to get a set of headers coated...
 
thanks gary i am heading to chicago tonight ....than to grand rapids tomorrow i am gonna try to stop in there and talk with them and take a valve or 2 with ....i sent 2 out last week should be back here by friday i was told ....were at in chicago r u ?

hi Gary..how is it going.My daughter and her friend came back from Chicago a few weeks back.They took in the bick concert there.Brought back some nice pics.They walked the streets one night,never talked to anyone...I told her to watch her back..lol..
 
hey Rich..could you let me know what it would cost to re-do my 7 PV's machined and coated.And could you let me know what it would cost to buy 2 extra one done up from you.That way I'll have 9 all together.I am in no rush yet.Maybe can work it out with Harness...I send 7 to you and Harness mails me the 9 back all done up...let me know.
 
hey doug ill know coating price later this week ...waiting on the ones i sent out to come back ...the coating company is doing the first one free as a sample so i can see there work ..when they come back i will have a quote for price per valve ...i was told the more i send the cheaper it would be ....also told me there is a 100 dollar min charge ....as soon as i get them back ill start a new post with actual cost repaired and recoated ......also what valves u needing doug 600 or 700 ?

20 dollars per valve to be repaired plus 12 shipping priority mail ...coating price still to come later this week when samples come back with quote ill be sure to keep everyone posted .....also gonna look into ceramic and teflon inpregnation coating .....
 
What did they say??? is the TEFLON coating the way to do OR IS ceramic the best way ???? What di Jon and Don say ??? I GOTTA KNOW ??????????
