my 2002 SRX stock jetting is #1-147.5/#2#3-146.3.I am at about 750 feet elevation here. What temps is that jetting good for? Guys last year were telling me the SRX is jetted rich usually.I have a chart here, but I think it is wrongly printed. It says that jetting is good foe between 40F and 60F..don't make sense.

I don't think they are rich enough, esp with the quality of fuel now. I usually jet them to 2001 specs and run 45 pilots. Even then if its below zero, the plugs are a little lighter than I would like to see them.

monster, yamaha leaned out the SRX in 02 because DCS is suppose to save the day and it does.. Yamaha had problems on the 2000 being jetted lean from the factory.

In 01 yamaha jetted up to 150 pto 148.8 center and mag. These jet specs are spot on for any 00-02 SRX that the motor is stock. I would run these jets in your sled. You might find with the current jetting you have now, which is stock for an 02, the DCS light comes on and smiles at you from time to time. If anything, jet up to 01 specs and keep it pinned on the trail all day long.

mine stock as well and it is way more faster on colder day like -25 I notice a big differance from -25 to +5 for drag racing need to run smaller jets for warmer days and need a clutch setup for the warm sloppy snow that seems to be my downfall this past spring I would kill everything when the cold weather sets in but come warm they all seem to get the better hand

DYNOED TWO YAMMIE TRIPLES THIS SUMMER AND THEY BOTH WERE VERY HAPPY FAT. ANOTHER WORDS THEY WANT FUEL. EVERYBODY ALWAYS FALLS INTO THAT TRAP ABOUT LEAN JETTING. 3:16 (yammie tony)

According to the chart that jetting is good for -7c (20f) at 750m elevation. Since you're only at 750FT elevation, that is good for +16c (60f) according to the chart.

So what your all saying except for Blue I'm on a very thin line when racing the sled in -25 degree weather
