im looking to buy a suspension for my sx7, i currently have a 03 rx1 pro action in it. i was thinking prox, or a rev susp.
what skid do you prefer, what shocks?
which shocks are rebuilds expensive and common?
what to look for and watch out for?
(121"x15")

Would A Rev Sus Work Poor In A Non Forward Rider Sled . As It Was Not Designed For It.

Interesting point you make there, sc-10 4 was designed around the rev the 3 was not and was developed during the zx chassis days.

i found out the hard way when a i built a mountain sled. the ski-doo shocks with the smaller diameter shafts are not fully rebuild able. the shaft seal is not available. the ones with i think it is a 5/8 shaft are. so if you use a ski doo skid watch out for the shocks. they are very spendy to get a good shock in the ones that use the small shafts. i got this from a factory race team mechanic.

I have a pro/x skid in my sx700r, built the skid and installed myself. Love it, but find an Edge skid instead. It took 4 years of Pro/X skids to get enough straight, not cracked parts to build 1 good one. Pro/x skids had too many incremental changes year to year and they have all been beat. Trust me on this one. But once you get that good polaris skid in there it makes a world of difference.
