I'm pretty sure the seller is a dealer. Probably has been hanging onto it for his own collection. If it's the guy I think it is he is known for trying to obtain a collection of flawless Yamis. Probably has 2 in a crate and decided to let one go.
Isn't there a muscle sled hall of fame that this sled can go to and sit in glass cabinate with gold linings LOL!

Dude, It's just an SRX with 0 miles. A used one with real low miles is just as nice. In fact, I bet there are many out there when put side by side, you couldn't tell the difference. That thing is not the almighty of all.
Now if it were a 77 SRX 440, then maybe I could see giving up a left nut, but not both!

I snowchecked my 02 SRX and picked it up in Aug. of 2001 for $6200 OTD. It has a little over 4000 miles on it now and I don't think I would trade mine for it now if I planned on riding it. Keep it in the crate and it will be worth something, ride it and its just another 9 year old sled that needs Ohlin's up front, clutching, transfer rods, beefed up W-arm,new ski,s and a host of other minor upgrades. Buy a nice used one that someone else has already done the work for you for half the price if you plan to ride it.

Agreed, my uncle has an 2001 SRX 700, low km and you open the hood and it looks brand new, other then the little surface rust on the pipes. No big deal. If ever he sold that machine, thats what id buy over a brand new in the box, cause you wouldnt even want to ride it.
