"srx 780 ice machine (shogun) project"


looking through my gears and i have a 20,21 13 wide gears and 13 hyvo chain. i need a 13 wide hyvo big gear. what will be best for 660 ice drags.
 
here is my set of mach z carbs bored to 39.5 going to clean them up yet just got the bored. also worked on my spindles tonight. have to weld them up a bit then lighten them up a bit more.

well i have my big bore ready to get ported by doug flannery. going this week to drop it off. full drag port and crank welding and trueing. also got me a egt setup .

I have always wondered what kind of hp a full race 780 will make. I am very interested to see the results.
 
here is a sneek peak of of my custom seat. it is not finished yet. it only weighs a few lbs. i will post pics soon.

Tyler Flagg old 780 race srx that Nos-Por owns made 194 or 196 I belive.
Tyler weighed 280lbs and ran in the high 9.3's on aspahlt.
 
here is a secondary i will be testing with just got it it needs new rollers and to be cleaned a bit. also i got some v force 1 reeds and 2 which is better to run in my 780.

is that the '00? also, did hauck build the motor originally and then mrviper do some work to it, later down the road?

well i have my new seat turned out great only weighs a few lbs and fits good. i ordered my ice studs today and bringing my polaris primary to micro to have some stuff done to it.

here is my egt that i am going to flush mount in my tank. i wil have a vdo tach on my bars so i wanted to put these out of the way. also going to use a mach z fuel pump and my oil tank as my gas tank.

Definitely looks like it will be a blast... buff the aluminum and take a hole saw to them plastic parts to start reducing weight

Every single part will be lightened up. There Will be a lot of polishing.
 
Cant wait to see the pics, I saw Rich Daly's hill climb sled last year, carbon fiber body and everything was drilled like mad! Very impressive stuff, I need to start learning how to do that, my race quad needs to go on a diet big time.
 
here is my rotors i had made they weigh less than half. my new polaris p 90 showed today. going to get it cut at micro and have a puller made.
