modsrx said:do u suggest that running tripple pipe from a viper on a srx would help the srx in hp gain
nope, the viper pipes are the wrong length for a srx cylinder.Too long of a headpipe, will result in a lower rpm.

its real hard to say. 160-165 maybe with stock pipes and 38MM carbs with good fuel and some head and port changes. full race improver style is 175-185. Full race pro stock style is maybe 200-205. these numbers are having somebody build your complete sled thats done ALOT of dyno research on all the possible combos. If your makin 185 with an improver SRX and you can clutch real good youll be in the finals at any pro race. My .02
My suggestion would be find someone who has done this with proven results and pay them to build you one. Its real painful ($$$) to learn from scratch.
NOTE: these are calibrated dyno standard corrected numbers.

We have a improve stock viper that dynoed 188.1 with bored stock carbs and we have a srx we built last year thats going to have 38s on it. Should make a little more hp than the viper

I have no experiance with built SRX engines(I did all my tinkering on civics lol)but from the little I do know about engines I would think 170 should be easy on pump gas considering bender advertises about a 10hp increase for their trail porting and between 10-15hp for their power pack, thats about 170 right there and I know that these are estimates but it shouldnt be too far from the ballpark Now when U guys talk about making 200-205hp your talking on stock bores right?Sorry to bother but does anybody know what these 1100 SRXs I keep seeing on youtube are capable of making as far as power?Oh and edgeracer we should go riding bro I live in Ellenburg ctr, only two of us in my crew ride blue it'd be nice to ride with some other yammies.

Sorry to bust your bubble but there's no way your gonna see a real 170 hp number on pump gas. I will give you free Dyno time to prove it. Just call and bring your sled!
Stock bore SRX.
And in the right hands the SRX can be a real ripper!

The items that you are reading are truly misunderstood by the consumer , its a real shame how they mislead people for there own benefit , you cant add advertized hp by compounding items such as v-force , porting , cans ,pipes , clutching , bored carbs , etc,........
