Does anyone know the life expectancy of the Crankshaft PTO bearing(s) after putting pipes on?? I have 940 miles on the motor since the addition and everything looks good.. Have the motor out to fix some body issues, and was going to take preventative measures until I saw the price tag.....

I wouldn't worry about it at all, the redheads are very tough even when heavily modified. The only year with a potential problem were the '97's and even those would often go a long time with mods before having a crank problem. The mechanic at our local dealer says the redheads are as reliable as the 4 strokes, quite a endorsement huh?tcdesignguy said:Does anyone know the life expectancy of the Crankshaft PTO bearing(s) after putting pipes on?? Bearing issue on the 700 red head was corrected in 98
