PTO Bearing life on SX700 with Pipes

Does anyone know the life expectancy of the Crankshaft PTO bearing(s) after putting pipes on?? I have 940 miles on the motor since the addition and everything looks good.. Have the motor out to fix some body issues, and was going to take preventative measures until I saw the price tag.....

I wouldn't worry about it at all, the redheads are very tough even when heavily modified.The only year with a potential problem were the '97's and even those would often go a long time with mods before having a crank problem.The mechanic at our local dealer says the redheads are as reliable as the 4 strokes, quite a endorsement huh?

Bearing issue on the 700 red head was corrected in 98

buddy of mine has over 30 000km's on his bottom end and it's just starting to get noisy!
