Anyone stretched thier old vamx?..I have a 1995 and want to go to 136 and was wondering if anyone has done some home brew extensions or is there a kit that can be bought? If someones done this could you please post pic's also. Thanks guys!

find the parts from any 94-96 st. they were 136 from the factory and the tunnel extension is a direct rivet-on. as for rail extensions if you dont want to opt for the longer skid, any extensions for yamaha will work. i have also had custom tunnel extensions bent by a local shop for around $80. sorry, no pics.
Thanks snowdad4, thats good info on the st's...As for the rails I got that covered, I picked up a 136 skid out of a '05 warrior...This is turning into one hell of a project!..lol...but I'm having fun!

i just turned my 01 srx into a 141 long track. Took me a while. Snowdad helped me through it so keep in touch with him. He knows alot. Be prepared for a battle, but mostly just take your time and be precise. I attempted to make my own extension and after a while i just called Tom Hartman and he hooked me up. Highly recommended. Dont do it yourself. Let the professionals help. Or trust me, you might not be riding when that first snow hits. Good luck. Post pics. Have fun.
