Stumpped on wiring for servo test plug

I've looked everywhere on my 01' SRX 700 that I just picked up for the red and black wire plug to set the servo motor. I've traced the main cluster and nothing. But I clued in and noticed that there is a heated visor plug with a red and black wire powering it. The wire comes out of the cluster approx where the servo test wire should be. Could this be the servo test wire? or I don't know where this servo wire test plug is. This is my first time to adjust my PV's and I have to set the servo and cannot run the sled right now because I am waiting for some parts for the carb. Not sure if this can be possible but let me know if you have any ideas.

I can't imagine why someone would tap into the test plug but maybe they did (assuming red and black were power) and found they got it wrong and just left it that way. Is there another tether plug elsewhere?

I know it may be a bit scarry applying 12 volts to the unknow, and unfortunately I wasn't able to check my sled last night, but I'd trace those two wires back. If they are spliced into other wires (black and black with a blue stipe - I think) then it'd be to power heated visor. If they go into the wire loom as if they'd never been touched, then I'd be more confident they are the test wires. Does the loom look like it's be retaped in that area?

I still think the test plug should be dangling from the main loom on the PTO/left side of the tank just above the fuel line outlet with red and black wires going into a white two way hardshell connector..

Can anyone else confirm?

That sounds like the plug, you can draw power there. The three wires are ground, main power Red, which usually goes to brown on the harness, the other wire goes to the pv motor , When you connect the battery, your just powering up the harness and sending the correct voltage to the motor to open up.

I think I might just wait until I can run the motor. But I am sure those must be the wires because the loom dosen't seem to have been touched and there is definitely no other wires comming out of it since i've unplugged almost everything to get some good slack to take a good look.
I've read of some people using 9V instead of 12v to power the servo to open it up. Does this really work and possibly make any difference to save from frying anything?

PV test connector

Had a chance to uncover my sled this weekend. See the pic of the test connector in the center. It appears to be under the servo motor in the pic but is actually just above the fuel line outlet along side the corner of the fuel tank. It is a white THREE wire hardshell connector with a sealed dummy plug and TWO wires going to it. One black and one red. Someone may have run wires through the dummy plug for some reason?

I've read a 9 volt battery will activate the servo but I've only used 12 volts.
