what is the #1 cylinder..is it the clutch side and #3 would be mag side..can't remember.Reason I ask it says in manual to align cylinder gasket with the notch between #1 and #2..

what is the correct method of installing circlips.Does open ends end up in the recess of the opening.

The open ends of the circlips should be as far away as the recessed opening in the piston.
