Aftermarket grip warmers

I saw a thread on here last winter/spring where someone was looking to wire up a set of a/m grip warmer elements to the stock wiring so he could still use the variable resister for temp control.Has anyone done this successfully?I have been looking at different grips I'd like to try but that means using an RSI or the like grip warmer kit,which doesn't bother me it's just that I'd also like to be able to maintain the stock warmer controls.

I just finished wiring up my RSI hand warmers seems to be working good will know when winter gets here!!!

i too have a similar problem of the stock two wire that are wired in series and the rsi have 3 wires? who has done this successfully?

hot grip brand grip warmers are only two wire and work just as good or better than stock.
