srx engine placement

Hey,
Just wondering, how do you know where exacly the motor sits when you install it ? i want to make sure my clutches match up. also, i was wondering about the drive shaft (i think thats the one, the shaft that has the break and the secondairy clutch) how can i tell if it is sitting where it is supossed to. My disc brake also is tight, is it suposed to be really tight on the shaft? mine just slides on and off.

Sorry so many questions, gotta get this in, and get it right.

you need to find someone close by with a set of center to center and offset tools/bars.

Or you can also make your own clutch tools or have them made from drawing in the Tech section, snowmobiles, CLUTCHES & jetting, Clutch Tools.

Terminology info:

-"JACKSHAFT" runs from the top of the chaincase to the secondary clutch[has the disc brake on it]

-"DRIVE SHAFT" runs from the bottom of the chaincase to the speedo drive[has the track drives on it]
