Ok, i was trying to avoid writing this and finding the info on past posts but there is a ton of conflicting info. I have an '03 viper er. i got it with a 1.25 121 ripsaw under it (no studs). I have a 9t driver. It has factory tunnel protectors and factory hx protectors. I can see where the track was rubbing a bit on the hx protectors. It isnt real bad but there werent very many miles on that setup (less than 300 i think). I bought it this spring and put a hartman 136 kit on it. Im about to put the new 136 1.25 ripsaw track back in and i only want to do it ONCE. (well Im not looking forward to even th one time i guess
My questions:
do I need to cut either of the protectors out? If i do is the hx easy?
do i need to "notch" the track by the windows?
can I put studs in with the 9t driver?
if im not going to stud it, can I just take the all protectors out? will that solve all my problems?
