Just ordered a New Boss seat for my 01 SXR700. Anyone else have one on there sled?
Sure do, You will not believe the new riding position. It makes the sled feel like 5" more suspension. We tend to ride many more miles now. Al
how much are they? my back could use a seat like that.
$399 shipped. This does not include a rear light though. YOu must fabricate your own. I used a LED oval tail light. Looks great. On the Viper I plan to use the OEM light assy due to it's unusuall dual light look. Al
Hmm, I'll have to think about that one. Just spend 400 bucks on pipes and reeds and will probably have to spend a little more to get everything dialed in. Sure would be nice to have a little bit higher riding position though. The back isn't getting any younger.

How about on a 97 SX? Worth while? Good fit? Pictures please!
You can go to the Boss website for pictures. They don't specifically say for an SX though.

You don't have to keep saying its a bad picture. Its ok if your sled is pink, it looks nice. lol
I do like the seat though what do you think it is about 4 in higher?

That looks like a very nice alternative. And cheaper to boot !! Don't have to fabricate a light either.
