Thanks, but I already listened to that .wav file on the Silencer Mod tech page. It has a great 'growl', but I was curious if it was loud as a trail can or a race can. There's some guys who drag on a pond a few miles away from my house and I can hear them with their race cans. I don't want this....
its not much louder then stock..few DB but it has a really nice crisp sound....not loud like a race can.

I'm going to go ahead and do the Silencer Mod this weekend, but I'll take digital video before the mod and after the mod.
Do you want a copy of the two videos Mr. Sled, in case someone else comes along and wants to hear the before/after?

I Did This To My Sx 700 And It Is About 4 Db's Louder And I Did Notice The Difference In Performance, and It Almost Has That F1 Sound When You Wind It Up, I Love They Way It Sounds And Dont Get Hassled By The Man Either, Cause The Looked Under The Hood And See A Stock Can And Said Ok.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing the sound it makes. BTW we don't get hasseled by the police. I don't even think we have Police on snowmobiles around here (my buddies and I have never seen them). Go where you want and as fast as you want as long as the Police in their cars don't catch you....
Sounds like Iowa, we dont have to worry about loud pipes. But I know the importance of quiting things up before heading out of town! I like to take advantage of Wisc, Minn, Michigan on weekends and week trips...so I will be changing mine back and forth!
