Hey everyone,
I am starting to adjust the suspension on my SX and in watching the Pro-Action tuning video produced by Yamaha, the showed a tool to go after the lock and adjust nuts on the spring with. Tool kinda looked like c-claw and real skinny in order to go after those skinny adjust nuts.
Is this tool avaliable anywhere (please keep in mind I do not have a sled only or yamaha dealer where i am).
Or what have ya'll used instead of this tool?
THanks in advance,
Tony

It's a spanner wrench . I know most of the newer ski-doos come with them in the tool pouch if ya know someone w/ a DOO. The one I borrowewd was from a REV. Pioneer Performance has them...part #......P-K107. Found them in the catalog but not online.
Flat tip with hammer to lightly tap the bottom retainer loose. Then turn the shock spring by hand which will also turn the upper retainer to your new settingFF-Tony said:Or what have ya'll used instead of this tool?

I got the video off of a torrent, said it only had one seeder but i was able to get it downloaded in half an hour or so.
My neighbor had the spanner wrench that was the right size he uses on his harley, so the suspension is all set up and ready to hit the white stuff...as soon as it falls
I found that the bottom retaining nut was not moving on its own, so i ended up removing both shocks, trhowing them in the vice and adjusting them from there.
Gonna get m own tool this week, im sure either the powersports shop (not open today) or a harley dealership in town will have one in stock.
Thanks for all you input guys.!
