hello all, picked up a viper to build up, threw a set of bender pipes on it and have a question on clutching. after looking in the tech section i've read 8dn-20 weights are ideal for me, and a green spring in the secondary, i'll have to play with the degree settings on that when snow flies. i weigh 175 lbs soaking wet, running a 1.25 in track with 8 tooth anti ratchets. i want to leave stock gearing because it will be a little short for the distances i'm looking to go while drag racing. i'll be doing a variety of riding types of straight drags (very short 660ft max) windy trails, 1 mile straights on the trail at most and do not care about top end. i'm looking at the pioneer blue clutch spring 52.5 preload and the total rate is 125, and a 51/43 helix. would this total set up be good for what i'm looking to do, weekday rider/ditch banger and weekend dragster? again that's 8dn-20 weights, pioneer blue primary spring, 51/43 helis with green secondary? any thoughts would be appreciated?
