im putting a sled together for my girl. thing is the guy i picked it up from burned it down and then rebuilt the motor with 96 cylinders. he also didnt have the 97 exhaust manifold so i have no idea if it will bolt up to the cylinders or not.
my question is will the 97 manifold bolt up to the 96 cylinders or am im going to have to modify it? i have access to a welder and what not, just wondering what i need to buy or modify.

Not sure about the exhaust, but the reed cage/intake boots are not the same. '96 has 6 bolts, '97 went to 4 bolts. I think the exhaust is different also, but not positive.
they will bolt up just fine.. the 97 and up cylinders are ported differently (better)
