drag 6-800 ft
Yami G/W/G
Hauck orange is a 55/136. If the engagement is too high and you want the same shift out go to a yamaha G/W/G which is a 45/136. Both of these, however seem like an awful lot of spring for the weights you are using. Just my opinion.

is this for a viper if so here's a setup with heelclickers not what you have but great for drags
50/40 Helix, Red Heelclicker ,4.2g in heel, 1st hole empty, 4.5 G in the tip with Green Secondary Spring. Also can run a 48 or 46 initial angle & 2.4g in 2st hole and a little less in the tip and fine tune from there
also just getting a 53/43 helix works great for the viper with a green secondary everything else stock
Also pm Don(mrviper) he'll set you up

I used a hauck orange w/8bu-00's and had approx 4500 engagement. Also used that spring in my buddies viper w/8ab's and had like 4400 engagement. I don't think you'll see 5000 engagement. Engagement rpm depends on a few things......pre-load of spring, engagement flat on the weight, wether or not the weight is "tucked", and even roller size.

I HAVE USED HAUCK BLUE WHICH WAS AROUND 45-4800 AREA AND HAUCKS ORANGE WITH 8CA- 8AB- AND 8BU AND MY ENAGEMENT WAS 5000 ALL DAY LONG. EVEN FINED TUNED FOR HIGHER ENGAGEMENT WITH SHIMS. NOW OF CORSE THIS WAS FOR ICE AND GRASS RACING. THAT HAUCK BLUE IS A GOOD SPRING THATS CLOSE TO YAMAHA W-W-W. 3:16 (yammie tony)
I had the hauck orange in my 700 with 8bu's and was at 5000 rpm engagement with a .8 in middle 4.5 tip I guess every sled is different

I have a Hauck orange now and my engagement is right around 5k.....way to much. Will the blue drop me down? I really only trail ride and it seems high.

for snow you need to be right around 4000-4200rpm, really much more then that its awfull hard to hook up in snow.
