Shims were thin I forget thickness but each one adds 100 rpm of engagement plus I have mr vipers secret personal grass drag suspension set up and the his motor too! It launches outa the gate, don says not even close to heel clickers tho

I had that spring in for a number of years and could not get enough weight in the ramps to pull the RPM down at higher speeds. I never really had a hard pull from 50-70MPH like most SRX'S. I recently noticed the orange spring was binding internally on the clutch. Not sure if it is just completley lost its tension, or it has been hanging up for years.......
I would not go more than 4,000-4500 RPMS, you are already going to dig a hole to China unless you have ALLOT of Ice picks.

mrviper700 said:for snow you need to be right around 4000-4200rpm, really much more then that its awfull hard to hook up in snow.
what clutch weights are you using?
Not sure about the weights. I haven't done anything to the clutch besides clean it....sled was set-up great when I bought it. I have only ridden it once with the new spring and it does not hook up on snow. Way too high engagement.
I'll go see what I can find out.
