Will the adjustable rods from an 03 RX1 work on my 97 700SX?? I see that the lower part of the rod in a bit shorter, but I used a thinner plastic shim to compensate

yes, same legnth. only ones that are different length are the 2000 and up srx.
do you know Mike clark? He is in readfield (northern mass) Tell him to get his but up here this winter for some riding.

Yep, I have known Mike all of my life...... Good Guy. He seems to be pretty much consumed with his kids, no time to ride. Hopefully we will get him out on the trails this year!
