Been havin problems with my 99 vmax 500 for a couple years now. Heres the skinny.
Blew it up at the end of the season 2 seasons ago, I think it was due to dirty carbs.
Rebuilt it and on the first time I rode it last season it ran great for 10 miles or so but then started running on one cylinder again. I was so upset that I put it away for the season without looking at it.
This summer I built up the courage to look at it and to my suprise I have 125 psi on both cylinders so its not blown. Also found out it has spark on both cylinders with an in-line ignition spark tester.
So my guess is its not getting fuel right? I will take the carbs off and clean them up but is there anything else I could be missing??
I am not real confident messing with the carbs so I was thinking about taking them somewhere to be looked at.
