I have a 2002 sx600r. If anybody has the same sled could u send me a pick of the rail, suspension system. I'm redoing mine and can't figure out the rear idler wheel configuraton. I have 5 spacers (2 short,2 medium, and 1 long ) 4 washers, 2 eyebolts, and 4 wheels. You can send pics to shafner@toledoclub.org . Thank you!

Long spacer in the center then the 2 inner wheels (one on each side) then the med spacers and this all goes between the rails. The short spacers go on the outside of the rails then the 2 outer wheels. You will notice that this lines up the inner wheels with slots in the track.

I am out the door and will be back in a couple of hours. Can do a photo then if you still need it.

Thank you abumpa, that is the way I had it last night in the man cave but got to the last outer wheel and no room to slide it on the shaft, kinda confused, have print out of suspension breakdown from yamaha's site but not too good of a drawing! Thanks again bumpa, will try again tonight!

WAIT!!! I just looked at it closer and I may have told you wrong. At first I did not notice the adjusting hardware takes up room on the shaft. I now think the small spacers go in the inside of the rails and the medium go outside the rails.

Never had one apart so I am new to it also. Is hard to see it good when it is all together. Sorry if a screwed you up.

when you take these things apart, you lay them out the way they came out..all in a row and put everything back in reverse. You can even mark them with a marker.

I just noticed where you live. I was over in your area (Jackman Rd and Rauch Rd) just last Sunday. The guys I ride with keep their sleds in storage near there and we went and picked them up.

Hope your skid install went OK.

Thank you Mills, I've already been there and printed out the breakdown but it does not show good details, espically the other track adjustment eye bolt. I did not get time to tinker with it last night but will tonight. Been tearing apart suspension arms and replacing bushings, also found multiple grease fittings bad, no ball and spring. Been cutting them out and welding a 1/4 28 nut and using 1/4 28 zerk fittings incase one goes bad again all I have to to is unscrew it and replace it! Makes life easier when u can get grease into the moving parts.
