can't strip the paint

I polished my tunnel a couple of years ago and paint stripped right off. So my friend wanted to polish the tunnel on his cat and only some paint will come off. He used a paste stripper that I used and nothing. So he bought a different stripper and wont touch the paint either. We were going to try aircraft stripper but don't want to waste another $40 if it doesn't work. Anybody else have this problem? Or any suggestions?

It's a Cat. Tell him they are finicky about their outer coat and the paint must be licked off.

i cant believe it took this long for someone to say it, but you were looking for suggestions so here goes............. i suggest selling the sled (for cheap, cause they are not worth much) and buying a yamaha!! sorry, i just had to do it!!
 
That's the only thing holding it together........ Don't take it off.......
