don't need no truck here.It just sits anyways.Wouldn't waste my money on a new truck.That old Ford runs great for me..cheap to run..cheap insurance..etc. I usually keep my vehicles for up to 20 years and get my monies worth out of them.I personally don't believe in purchasing a new vehicle..to much $$ for what you get these days.Same with the sleds..like the older stuff..really can't get into the new stuff for what they are selling for anyways..to much $$ again.I can run gas in my stuff for a lot of years instead of making payments..lol.That's just me..and I am happy with it.Thing is I maintain everything I run,so things are like new.
 
what makes me more happy is more snow..lol.A new weather statement has just been issued fir us.Another 10 to 15 cm's of snow by tonight.Wow that is good news...and high winds tomorrow to blow it around again...yikes!!

Thats what I like to hear!!! My buddy is still waiting for his sled said he should have it back this week, total bill almost $1800 lol crazy amount to spend.
 
saw a couple of Doo's whip on by the other side of Hwy..Ditch is full there.... :o| Maybe I will try it there after the next batch of snow comes down....Two weather systems in about 3 days and major snowblowing my yard here..CRAZY!!!! Another 2 systems coming this way for another 25 cm's maybe or more...and this is only November..WOW!!!!
 
I'm just west of Thunder Bay 30min and we picked up 12" plus. 3-6" more starting now!
 
I should be out there riding,but don't like the windchill of -25 right now...lol..and it is cloudy out.If it was sunny,might try it.Guess I am not in the right frame of mind yet.I used to ride in -30 and worse when I was younger..but find it now that I don't like riding when it is cold and really windy out either.I pick my days now.I remember last season it was in the -45 to -52 windchills for a month..sled stayed warm in the garage and I lived on the computer.Wasn't much of a season for riding left then,especially when there was lack of snow after xmas yet and a early spring.They should make sleds with enclosures to keep us warm and toasty when we ride...lol
 
Went for a ride on Saturday out by Tyndall. Went out to Lac Du Bonnett they have more snow there than south of Winnipeg. Sleds all over north of the city.Went for a tear on Sunday by my place and had enough snow in the ditches.Went out for about an hour.. Oh what a feeling to be riding in Nov. Havnt done that for a long time...lol..
 
Ah man, I wish. Here in Central Ontario right now as I type there is a thunder storm brewing. Nov 22nd and we are having a thunder storm. WTF
 
there is not enough snow yet to be safe,that is why I hesitate.Lot of open culverts,drainage areas and rocks around here.Will attempt maybe to ride in between the 4 lanes of Hwy,grass was cut short there..but at every mile there is a major drainage system full of concrete and rocks..so have to watch myself.Lots of time to ride yet..it's early.Some guys are coming down on the weekend for a liitle boot...my sleds aren't even broken in yet..hate only going low speed for a couple tanks of gas.... :o| By the time I finish breaking in both my motors..spring will be here. Break in period is around 10 hours..that'll be fun x 2..One month gone just to break everything in..crap.
 
1 good thing..more snow coming..up to 25 cm's now thru to Sunday.That is another 10" of snow..wow in November yet.Can I say FLOOD in the Spring..you betcha.....preparing for that already ..
 
Hey blue Ive been riding the SRX for over a week now no long runs yet just getting my hunters out but there is alot of snow here in Swan River, lots of sleds riding the ditches and fields
 
66 degrees here yesterday. 22 today. Oh ya did I forget to mention I was in a freakin tornado yeserday. How's that for November weather.
 
Don't think I can ride for a while.Just came back from the Chiropractor and have some major damage to the lower back area.He scared me when he saw what I have.Tons of torn ligaments and damage.Can't sit very long either or it hurts like hell when I get up.This is not good news.
2 weeks ago I was stripping my motorcycle down to sell parts.When it came to the engine,it was a challenge.I struggled but lifted the 700 out of the frame and down to the ground.Then strained myself picking it back up onto a Dollie.2 days after the pain started.Finally decided to go have it looked at..and the news wasn't good.Man do I ever have bad luck lately....This could take a month to heal right..... :o|
