idle changes w/hand warmers?

for those who have been helping me with the tors today... i tried to take the tors sensor off the carbs, backed out the idle screw till it stopped, but i still couldnt get the sensor off, must be some other way... i did try moving the sensor around and playing with it, and sled then seemed to run ok... i bet it is a touchy sensor.. anyways, here another question, why does the idle go up a tad when i turn my hand wamers off? is this normal? im not talking much, it just seems if i turn my warmers on, the idle drops maybe 100 rpms or less...of course the lights dim a tad, but i know thats normal, but i dont remember idle changing a tad w/the warmers.. 2000 sxr700 w/1300 miles.. thanks
 
I have the same sled as you and it does NOT drop idle when I flip the warmers on.. Have you added anything else to the electrical circuit? Like heated shield, addition gauges??
 
sled has heated shield hookup

but I dont plug it in.. i dont have heated shield. would this make difference? heated shield wire goes under seat somewhere
