Looking for some set up ideas for my SXR. I have the jets already that the previous owner used in his sled. But I want to make sure they are the ones I need before I go and install them. From what I have searched I believe you leave the mains alone and change the pilots to a 150....??
Also I do have a gear change, will that affect anything?
Also as far as clutching goes, I used Turks reccomended clutching for just a stock sxr. But wwould i have to change that as well with everything listed below....?

148.8 or 150 mains
stock 45 pilots
raise needle 1 position (lower clip to 4th position from the top)
fuel screws 2 turns out
as for clutching mine is as follows
51/45 helix with green spring
stock weights with 3.6g inner 3.1g outer
just as long as you're reving to 8900-9000

Ok so I follow those jetting specs, and it seems like its backfiring a little. What should I do? Make it leaner?
