i need help with my snowmobile, there is no spark. i cant figure out why. i changed the spark plug wires to ngk's. and cut and extended all my wires to the handlebars. what are some tests to help find spark. and also when changing the trailing arm, do you have to buy a new bushing for the end or can you use the old one? and how do you get it? thanks for the help 
Did you have spark before you modified everything? You can use the old bushing, provided it's still good

the last time i had it running was last march. then over the course of the summer, i had modified some things now it will not start
its likely in the kill switch wires if you cut and extended them for a tall bar riser, start there and make sure its all correct.
exactly! Go over all of your wiring modifications.

well after fiddling with the kill switch, i finally got spark and it started up right away. next on my list is the bushing in the trailing arm. how do you go about getting this out of the old trailing arm and into the new one? thanks
I just knocked mine out with an old socket which was the correct size. The new trailing arm you have, is it oem, or aftermarket?

Use a socket and bench vise to push the old one out and into the new trailing arm.

it is a kimpex one from royal distributing. ill try the bench vise thing tommorow. i tryed hitting out with a socket and hammered but its really seized in there
I bought one of those late last year from Royal, to replace one which I bent. The Kimpex looked pretty good. Just last week I was looking over my sled, and noticed the new arm was bending. I never hit anything, so was wondering wtf? Upon closer inspection, the arm was bending due to the forces of the shock absorber. I looked at the other arm on the sled which is still the factory original, and noticed a reinforcing plate welded to the bottom of the arf, just below the shock mount. The Kimpex arm does not have that reinforcement plate, and is the reason for the bending. I straightened out the bar, and welded a plate to the bottom to reinforce that area. You should do the same, before even installing that arm
