Mountain Max vs Viper Trailing Arms

I am installing fox floats on my SXR700. I was also planning on putting Viper trailing arms and spindles to get more clearance up front. I have a chance to get 2002 mountain max trailing arms.... Are the arms on the mountain max and viper same? If I run my radius rods to get the ski stance back out where it's supposed to be?

No the spindles are a different height and the shock brackets are at a different angle.
 
Trailing Arms

Mnt Max & SXr Trailing Arms have the same spindle length where the Viper spindles are 1" longer so use different Trailing Arms. Mnt Max Trailing arms won't do anything for you. You will need the 97 SX upper shock brackets to make the Fox floats work on your SXr with whatever trailing arm used. If you want Viper Trailing Arms you will need Spindles, Bushings and steering levers which OE costs $130 apiece for spindles $107 & $117 for Steering Levers ( The SXr levers are different. I have a complete set of Mnt Performance Lightweight Crome Moly Viper Trailing Arms with all above for $450 like new
 
Thank you for all the info, I found a set of spindles and steering arms for 50 and going to pick up soon, I ordered the shock brackets from protyamaha.. just need to find viper arms... GILD I may be interested in purchasing those arms... Are they strong enough for midwest riding?

You are not supposed to hit anything. They have replaceable tubes if you bend them but honest I don't know how stong they are for your style of riding. We do pound it hard on the trails going up with no damage.
