Electric Start for VIPER ????

A friend has brought a VIPER Mountain ( 2004 ) for his girlfriend but the girlfriend want a Electric start on it...

But it seems that it is very hard to find a electric start for the Viper..
Does a electric start from the V-Max , SXR , SX models fit ?
...or from any other Yamaha model ?

I believe any pro action chasis 97 and up should work

You can also order the e start kit from a Venom which is exactly the same as a viper..

Which is the only way to do it new now, since the actuall kit yamaha had labeled for the viper is discontinued.

This is what the kit looks like new. If you are patient You should be able to find one used for no more than $200 shipped. Here or on ebay. Very easy install. CCC

Just went through it. WIth the help of TY it was a breeze. If you can't find used, shop around. $415 is what I paid for Brand New OEM Yamaha. As already posted, it it for an 04-05 Venom...Same kit for the Viper. If you get it and have any questions, PM me for help!

any proaction should work, should get wiring and battery tray, starter, and a ring gear to go on the clutch

Already went through this with my viper. The viper is different then the vmax n sxr

If I am right you need them from a venom or a viper

the venom & viper kit are the same.
the sx, sxr & vmax kits will also work. however, the sub lead wire that clips on to the sleds wire harness is not the same ( can order from yamaha ) & the pos./neg. battery & starter cables are shorter ( these are also still available from yamaha ).

Yes the venom kit will work, there was someone on here that just did this. And there is also no difference between the kits for mountain, or standard track if thats what your asking.
