I am about to install my cables onto another powervalve servo, and i am not sure on how to approach this. I understand the adjustment with a 2.5 mm allen wrench but can't find any information on how to start from scratch by installing the cables onto a new servo. If anybody has experience swapping servos please chime in and point me in the right direction......I'm not quite sure how to "wrap" the cables around the pulley to start the procedure.......can I can set the valves later if needed?......any info would be helpful......thanks
Are you installing a whole new servo or just the pully part? If just the pully part I would think int can only go on 1 way. I would think there is a "key" or slot on the shaft coming out of the servo.

the Yamaha service manual shows how to wrap them cables exactly.Maybe someone can copy and paste here.

This is for both SRX and Viper
No:1-cable is the (top) cable in the servo and goes the the PTO cyl.
No:2-cable goes in the next hole down(middle) cable in the servo and goes to the middle cyl.
No:3-cable is the very (bottom) cable in the servo and that one goes to the MAG cyl. (longest cable)
now as far as the cable holder it goes 3-on the (botton),2-next (middle),1-
on (top).
as as far as the grooves in the pully on the servo motor thats,1-(closes) in to the servo motor,2-out side groove,3-middle groove..
wraping counter clockwise on the pully
