Here's a few more pictures of my Vmax all cleaned up.

Looks awesome!! Wish mine was that nice, The stock rear skid is the major downfall of my machine

Thanks!

Took the sled out for the first short trail ride Saturday and just found out today that the shaft on the front shock in the skid is severely bent. I am going to have to figure out what caused it to bind up.

On my 94 Vmax 600 I swapped out the secondary to a 96 Vmax XT one. It gave me alot more helix options. I also installed a primary clutch from a Polaris XCR 600. The primary made a big difference in performance. I am probably parting this sled out. I also have a 2 inch riser for the handlebars. Still going back and forth about parting it out.
I am definitely interested in the primary clutch and 2" riser if you part it out. PM me once you make up your mind. Thanks.
Did you have to do any modifications to the Polaris P-85 clutch to make it work on your Vmax? It is meant to be used with the 1-3/8" wide belts (89L & 8DN style)?

Found out that I didn't bend the shock shaft. I just broke the eyelet off the lower end. Got it welded and reinstalled today so I am good to go again.
