secondary spring question

02 ported srx. I am going to run my 48 gram hh's with 1/4, 3/4 in the heel. 7/16 bolt in the middle and tip along with the thick washer under each bolt. Using a 52/47 hauck helix what secondary spring should I use? Green or silver?

I personally would use the silver, w/60deg wrap minimum and like 70deg for starters.

Thanks mopar thats what I was thinking also. I know if you talk to Jeff Simon he suggests the silver.

Hey Mopar I have a new Hauck silver secondary spring here. It comes in there #4 kit with 49/41 and there launching weights and orange primary spring. They told me at Hauck it's stiffer then a Yamaha silver. Any idea how that would work? Ever used a Hauck silver?

i personally have never tried the hauck silver spring. you'll just have to play w/it and see. you might even have to bump the wrap on the yamaha siver spring to 80deg. the only way to know for sure, is by testing. of course you know that.
