Hi Folks
A friend of ours has a 2000 600 Vmax. He's a 350 lb guy and the suspension is not quite sufficient. We have been waiting for the shocks to explode with 20 megaton force. Is there anything he can do to improve the ride without selling a kidney? Different springs perhaps?
Thanx for any info

There are heavy springs avilable, also a re-valve on the shocks can do wonders. Pioneer performance should be able the to the valve work if you go that route. M-10 also offers a "big boy" set-up as well. I am close to 300 with my backpack, and my m-10 w/ ohlins was happy in 3' bumps the the gas full on.
Replace springs for riders weight.,, Is all you can do,, or slap in a different skid,,,with heavy weight springs........to give more travel.......

When I bought my SX700 last fall, I took it to my sled mechanic and asked for a complete suspension inspection and to set it up for a "fat guy" (275 in my birthday suit) I'm not sure what he did, but I love my ride!
Make sure you have taken advantage of all current suspension tuning.
