viper shocke on 01' SRX

Ok quick simple question...how are you guys installing viper shocks on SRX's? The top shock mount is an eye on the SRX and the Fork Type on the Viper...am I missing something here?????

you can either make a custom upper shock mount to accept the viper clevis shock top or cut the clevis sides off the viper shocks and weld eye type ends on,you will still have to modify the upper mount to raise the top of the shock up into the bellypan.the upper mount location has to be raised either way you do it.

one side of the clevis on the outside, one on the inside and a custom sleeve for the bolt to keep the brackets from compressing.

Viper Shocks On Srx Front

There is a member of this forum goes by BETHEVIPER who had these brackets available some time ago. Not sure if he still sells them but I bought a set and they fit perfect.
