04 Viper S runs only at 3K RPM's ??

Got me on this one. I cleaned the carbs and actually drained the old fuel and added fresh 93 octane just to be safe. I bought this sled last year with 15 miles on it (guy never used it since new, lucky find) I put 500 on it last season and it ran like a corvette! Anyway the thing starts up and ONLY runs and 3K. Throttle has no effect nor does the choke, it just stays there and not very smooth either. WTF is going on here. I appreciate the advice.

TORS! Did you plug in the two small bullet connectors from the carbs??

Yes, I've been searching here all night for the answer and that's what I had thought but everything is where it should be. FRUSTRATING !

Make sure your throttle has some free play in it,,, as that will activate the TORS and not let it rev beyond 3 grand........

Well , you all saved me some dough ! I really appreciate it. It was a TORS issue. I had no free play in the throttle. Now it's back to "running like a Corvette" as it should be !! Thanks so much and ride safe.
