vmax 540 crankshafts

Call Troy Bertch in Minot, He runs my old 81 srx 440 Mod Stocker he might take a spare?

Do the 81 SRX and 540 max cranks interchange?? Or does your friend that runs the modstock have a 540 bottom end with a 440 top end because thats what i did with my 440.
 
you have to have the 500 or 540 case to make the 540 work of course. the top ends will fit on all of them. i would like to find a original that never got the change up done to it . they went awesome and lasted of you took the boat anchor off the crank that spins the belt and put a 102 comet on.
