So i got my sled running nice and everything, it idles and starts no problem. so when i went to take it for a rip, it would slow down and bog just after theclutchs engage. it sounds like what happens when the tors activate, just sputters and idles down then its good to go again. so i checked my plugs and the left side cylinder wasnt running. there is spark but the plug is brand new, didnt even burn fuel.what could this be. need help soon, snows coming. thanks
 
Having the same problem on my middle cylinder. Will keep a eye on this thred 4sure. But im taking everything apart 2morrow and recheck lines in the carbs. Would do it 2day but watching THE BEARS LOL
 
Check the carbs and the plug boots. Clean carbs are a must. The plug boots will measure 5k ohms if they are good,if not replace them. Bad plug boots will allow the sled to idle but will not run well at half throttle plus. Another to check would be the stator. This would be the last thing to check. Hard staring usually points to stators going bad.
 
check reeds !! also check the throttle cable, it may be pulled out or not seated properly!
 
i got all three cylinders running now but it still bogs and back fires after a certain rpm. tommorow im installing longer throttle cables, changing ngk wires bak to stock. and disconnecting the tors and cleaning the carbs. if one of these dont fix it, im not going to be happy
 
Check your pilot jets. blow them out as well as the orifices in the carb! I've done a few this year that were doing the exact same thing and it was the pilots. The other thing it could be if not the TORS is the stator.
 
ok i figured it out, when i re-wired my kill switch, two wires must have rubbed through and started touching, so i unplugged my kill switch and then it ran fine, then the next problem i have is it will run fine for about 2-3 min then it will start bogging and going about 3000 rpms. i have to shut my sled off and it will run fine after that for another 2-3 min. this is so frustrating. help. thanks
