Electrical Question/Tail Lamp Swap

I got a boss seat for my SRX and rigged up a sweet little bracket for my stock tail lamp. But now that I have it in place it is to wide relative to the rear end of the seat for my taste. I want to put a Viper tail Lamp omn it but am wondering about the pigtail (same as the SRX?) and the fact that the Viper tail lamp uses two bulbs. I am not an electrical wizard and am wondering if the two bulb set up draws more juice and whether I would have issues?

Splice on another pigtail for the extra light. The draw will be twice as much. Get some super bright LED's and you won't have a problem with the power consumption.

The Viper Tail Lamp asm appears to just have a single pigtail and I am just wondering if it is the same as my SRX. And what you are saying is that the consumption of the LED bulbs is enough less that my current juice delivery to the rear of the sled will be enough?

no, its not the same as a srx harness but it is split for the dual bulbs. You could get a viper harness and solder your srx one into the viper harness. The plugs are differnt under the seat from a srx to a viper, so youll need to splice back closer to the tail light to add the viper tailight with the least amount of work.

Just cut the pigtail off both ends solder and shrink wrap
