I have to ask whats up with the Yamaha owners in this forum... Its seems that everyone who owns a Viper wants to change all the parts over to a SRX and everyone that has an SRX wants to swap out parts for the Viper.....

Now there's a bunch of Frankenstein Yamaha's running around and you cant tell how fast their going to be!
 
Funny but true! Any of you guy that have a srx someone is selling a pair of ohlins remote shocks for 200.00 on msp,mn craiglists, sound like a good deal.
 
SIMPLE, GUYS WANT THE POWER OF THE SRX WITH THE RIDE OF THE VIPER. OR THEY WAT THE RIDE OF THE VIPER WITH THE POWER OF THE SRX. NOW THIS MAKES NO SENSE rotflmao !!! 3:16 (yammie tony)

It's a communist plot grass hopper!
 
Or another way to look at it is like this: If a person owned both a Viper and a SRX, then that person could swap parts between them and end up owning two machines that had the best of both worlds.
 
Have you never been bitten by the 'MOD' bug???

Once bitten you always have to change things.
 
lol, funny thread. the viper has the suspenson and looks but needs the srx motor/pipes. If it would have came that way originally, yamaha wouldnt have been able to build enough of them, so we are left to make em the way we want em...!

Even if they did come that way originally we would still be changing them! Just like Ding said... once your bitten by the Mod bug you can't stop! lol

I have no idea what you are talking about... My Viper is all stock (from one sled or another, lol)...

Mod bug? What ya mean??? ohhhhh, yea, I got a couple of them projects, 67 Chevy with an LS1, 06 Raptor with a big bore/stroker, and a Viper with SRX pipes and SkiDoo suspension... hmmph, guess I do have a Frankenstein Yamaha, oh well, its mine, how does that quote from FMJ go, "This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine"
