New topend low compression???

On SX500 '01 where is the bleed screw? If I lift front end to bleed do I need to loosen fill cap to let air excape from coolant?
 
not sure on the 500,but on my 600 the bleed screw is way down behind the rhs rear motormount and just slightly above the oil pump.Hard place to get to.If you back off the screw to much,it will fall down under the motor ..so watch out.Don't know why they didn't add an extension to them like on my SRX... :o|
 
Thanks for the help - I found it under the rear of the seat. Alot of air came out before coolant started bubbling. Now it is running good with the side rails just warming and the hoses to and from the head not too hot.
