Should I Keep Staggered Jetting when going to 142.5 Mains?

Just wondering if I should keep the staggered jetting when dropping to 142.5 mains on my sx. What I mean is replace the 143.8's with 142.5's and the 145 with a 143.8. Or am I good to run 142.5's across the board?

I fully trust your expertise I was just curious since yamaha does it from the factory for some reason.

on the 98 XTC here..stock is what you have,but when we opened up the carbs we found someone changed them to 142.5/142.5/143.8..Since we don't have any jets laying around ,it is working good that way.If we had another 142.5 laying around..we would probably change it.Turk said it wakes up these 700's.

I never had any problems with running mine straight across when I had my 700. Plugs always looked good.
