Was riding the 600SXR today.Took my elect. Visor line from the SRX to the SXR.Not even thinking anything, when I started uo the 600 the tach kept dropping to 0 and sitting there.Rev it up a bit and tach moves.Anyways ran good all day until you stop and idle and tach drops to o again and odd time moves up.Then when it was at idle one time, when I pulled the visor line off the plug on the sled..Tach runs normal. Now I am wandering how is this even happening. Now this is the new line from from new BV2S helmet.Works on the SRX with no issue..kinda strange isn't it..yet motor and tach ran good all day. Will have to try my old visor line, but basically it is the same thing..weird.

OH well!!!!!

likely because the sxr 600 uses a ac electrical system and the srx uses a dc system, so it sounds like you have the elec. shield wired into the wrong place on the 600

sure doesn't make sense.I have had this wired for about 3 seasons already and this never happened before.I just won't use the elect shield then with the SXR for now.

No major engine work done recently,,, correct,,,, if so check all your plug-ins.........

I will try my other visor lines.Remember this is a BRP visor line. They make it so that if any other sledder then a Doo sledder uses there stuff..it disables our sleds so they can pass us on the trails..loll Love their helmets for sure..good fog control today in -30 to -35 windchill day.
You should of seen us 2 Yamaha guys walk into a Doo store..it was priceless.Of course 1 guy walks in and says"Look at this..2 Yamaha guys have to come to Doo to buy a Helmet." We said.."at least we are not buying a sled from here..otherwise we would be bringing it back for repairs in a week"
The sales people were good. The girl working there whispered to us not to worry. She told us she rides a Yamaha also..go figure....lol.She was cute and told my stepson to ask for her phone number...lol
