srx shutting off

I have a 98 srx that keeps shuttng off by it self. When I drive it just shuts of and then I let it coast to a stop and give it a pull and the way you go again, also it was idaling in my shop and it shut off by it self. I've by passed both the kill switch throttle switch and the switch on the carbs. Ive checked the wiring harness going into the cdi box for chaffing nothing. What other switch can cause this would the stator be loose.

Are you sure it is electrical and not a carb problem?

does the sled shut down as if you hit the kill switch or does it sputter and idle bad till it shuts down.
If it shuts down as if you hit the kill switch it sounds like electrical.
Does it seem to shut down at a certain RPM when you are riding.
Give us a little more info.

follow the wiring that goes under the motor...its very common on the 98/99 srx's that the wire harness will rub through under the motor.
