2000 sxr 600 w/ electric start, hook up the battery, dash and headlights are dim with the key off and the kill switch off. Sled starts and runs fine, no tail or brake light (will check for corrosion) headlight is dim both in high or low beam setting. Tach does not move untill I rev it to 2500 rpms. I don't have a manual for this sled, but I am thinking regulator/rectifier. Any help before I go order the regulator is appreciated.
hey grape how ya been? have ya checked the voltage with a digital meter?, it will tell ya for sure if its the regulator, sounds like its under 10 volts to be dim.

Been really busy, otherwise good. So if its under 10 volts, its the regulator? I am doing a favor, hence the no manual.
