My name is Jeremy and I live in northeast Oregon. I own a 1997 SX 600 and a 1998 SX that has a 1999 700 triple in it. I have a couple cars I play with for fun (well, its supposed to be fun) so familiar with wrenching but new to keeping sleds up so I thought I would join.
Last time out the lil red sled broke a ski. These things were pretty banged up. Any suggestions on some replacements? All the used ones I could find on ebay, they want $150 + shipping for. I see I can get the GYTR replacements for $85/each or so. Is this the best way to go? open to suggestions here. The saddles are fine.
The red and the blue are both mine. I got the extra so my wife could ride but she works in retail so mostly my bud gets to ride & break things on it. The blue one is pretty sweet. The chassis only has about 2000 miles on it and I got it for $1000. (seemed good to me.) Red one has been ummm used well and has about 5,000 on it.
PS, I hate my Gmax 68S helmet.

GYTR skis are good skis.

I have heard good things about the simmons skis but those are pricey. Last used set I saw on ebay went for $300 including shipping.
The car guy in me wants to put a set of triple pipes on the 700 but the novice snowmobile mechanic in me says to leave it alone.
