Excel 3 - Questions

Working on a mint Excel 3 and it is jerky and taking lots of effort when first moving forward... When I looked at the belt it was so loose I could take it off easily by hand without touching the secondary. I measured the belt and it is 30.25mm wide. Can someone tell me what it is supposed to be?

The belt was sitting a ways down in the secondary when I saw it with a fair amount of slack in it.

Does someone have amanual for this sled by chance??? I'll trade for access to about 20 yamaha PDF sled manuals that I keep in dropbox.com online.

No one knows what the belt width is for an excel 3? Can anyone with that sled and a caliper grab a measurement for me by chance??

If the belt was sitting down that far in the secondary, the sec. clutch needs to be looked into. The belt should be sitting at the outer edge when the sled is idling or off.

should be 1-15/16" wide when new. if around 1-1/2" you should replace it. dayco hp3021 works pretty well as i use the same belt on my et410.
